Stefan, a young gay medical student from Berlin, arrives in San Francisco for a medical congress and is following the trail of his dead father, a once high ranking AIDS researcher in the East.Stefan is investigating wether the HIV virus was an incidental result of secret human experiments that were conducted in US prisons in the seventies. Secret lists involving these biological experiments are rumored to have surfaced in San Francisco. |
Jochen Hicck was born in Darmstadt / Germany, lived in Munich, stuttgart and Italy (Bologna and Florence) before he moved to Hamburg in 1980, where he studied Film at the Hamburg Arts Accademy. For many years he has been working on various projects in both television and film. Most of his own projects have been realized outside of Germany, mainly in the United States and in Brazil. At the moment Jochen Hick lives in Hamburg and Berlin and works as an author, director and producer for feature films and documentaries. All of his films have been released theatrically in various countries and have been shown on many international film festivals arount the world. |
